Sal Allison
My first career after completing a degree in Art History, was as a Picture Researcher for a fine art image licensing company in London. After moving to Scotland, I retrained in Food and Wellbeing and have more than 20 years experience in the teaching sector. Alongside my culinary and lifestyle expertise, I am also a landscape painter and printmaker, specialising in large scale works inspired by graphic art.
My greatest love has always been colour, whether in it’s functional form in creating a piece of art, or in how it can impact our wellbeing. This passion led to me gaining an Advanced Diploma in Colour Analysis at the London College of Style. This was an amazing course, which really allowed me to take a deep dive into the science of colour theory and to really appreciate the transformative effect, that colour can have on our emotions, as well as our physical appearance.
Once you understand which colours make you look healthy, vibrant and why, this knowledge forever changes you and shopping for clothes becomes a real joy!
